Hello everyone, my name is Ivo and
I am a student at the American University in Bulgaria. I have created this blog
to share some amazing gadgets and gizmos that can entertain and aid people
throughout their everyday life and would be particularly useful for college
students.
Today,
I would like to share something I got recently as a gift. It is called “MaKey
Makey” and is a simple, yet an astonishing source of entertainment.
What it does is that it simply
turns every object that conducts electricity into a button from your keyboard. Simply
put, you can make a piano out of bananas, video game controller from a notebook
and a pencil, a keyboard and a mouse from morning cereal etc. It is easy to set
up, fun to use and does not require any installation, drivers or powerful computers
to run. It hides no danger for the user except, maybe, laughing too hard =).
From a student point of view, one
can easily download a console emulator and make a controller from his notebook
and thus save tons of money on games and game consoles. Otherwise, the
potential for decorating the dorm room with sounds and effects is unlimited –
by putting here and there surfaces and connecting them to “Makey Makey” you can
turn your room into a fun place to be with tons of surprises hiding in every
object people lay their hands on.
So, don’t hesitate, check the
